How the code works

  1. They download and run Quick Support from https://telmetra.com/qs.
  2. It shows a 9-digit code, for example 123 456 789.
  3. You enter that code after logging in, and the session starts.
  • Portable executable: run it from a folder or a USB drive.
  • The code is quick to read over the phone, single-use, with a 5-minute expiry.
  • Works on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server. Download it from a PC, not a phone.

Managing devices long-term

For devices you look after regularly, create an account and install Telmetra on them instead. You'll be able to connect unattended, and monitoring keeps running between sessions.
